Teacher shortages remain a pressing issue. Secondary pupil numbers in England are projected to peak in 2026/27, increasing the demand for qualified teachers (UK Parliament Committee Report). For educators, this means opportunities are there — but stability requires support, better workload management, and systems that help teachers thrive, not burn out.
