Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Year 3 / Year 4 Teacher to work at a primary school on the outskirts of Carlisle from September 2026, due to the position school are unable to accommodate ECTs for this role.
This Primary Teacher role is ideal for someone confident teaching lower Key Stage 2 and able to provide strong classroom routines, engaging lessons and consistent support for pupils in Year 3 and Year 4. The school is looking for an experienced teacher who can settle quickly, build positive relationships and keep learning on track from the start of the new academic year.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations.
Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting.
Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere.
Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school.
Candidate Profile
Relevant qualifications for a Educator (e.g., QTS or equivalent).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector.
Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
Ability to work effectively within a school community in Carlisle.
