Overview
An exciting Long Term opportunity is available for a SEND Teaching Assistant within the SEND sector in Orpington. This role is perfect for educators looking to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.
Age Range: 7 - 18 years
Contract: Monday To Friday 8:30AM To 4:00PM
Key Responsibilities
Support students with classroom learning activities
Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Assist with personal care when required
Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Candidate Profile
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate. Full support will be provided throughout the process
