This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing environment where every child’s progress is celebrated.</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">You will be part of a skilled and enthusiastic team, delivering personalised and creative learning experiences that support pupils to engage, communicate, and thrive both academically and socially.</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"></p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"><strong>Age Range: </strong>Key Stage 1</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"><strong>Contract: </strong>Monday To Friday 8:00AM To 4:00PM</p><h2 class="">Key Responsibilities</h2><ul class="list-disc pl-6 space-y-1"><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Plan and deliver personalised, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with ASD and additional learning needs</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Adapt teaching approaches using visual supports, structured routines, and sensory strategies to enhance engagement and understanding</p></li></ul><h2 class="">Candidate Profile</h2><ul class="list-disc pl-6 space-y-1"><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Have experience, or a strong interest, in teaching pupils with ASD and additional learning needs</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Be confident using a range of strategies to support communication, engagement, and emotional regulation</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Be a patient, reflective, and flexible practitioner</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Be committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment</p></li></ul><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"></p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"><strong>Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate.
