    Overview

    We are currently seeking an inspiring SEND Class Teacher to join a warm and supportive specialist setting, working with ASD pupils. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing environment where every child’s progress is celebrated.

    You will be part of a skilled and enthusiastic team, delivering personalised and creative learning experiences that support pupils to engage, communicate, and thrive both academically and socially.

    Age Range: Key Stage 1

    Contract: Monday To Friday 8:00AM To 4:00PM

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and deliver personalised, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with ASD and additional learning needs

    • Adapt teaching approaches using visual supports, structured routines, and sensory strategies to enhance engagement and understanding

    Candidate Profile

    • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

    • Have experience, or a strong interest, in teaching pupils with ASD and additional learning needs

    • Be confident using a range of strategies to support communication, engagement, and emotional regulation

    • Be a patient, reflective, and flexible practitioner

    • Be committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

    Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate. Full support will be provided throughout the process.
