SEN Lunchtime Supervisor

<h2 class="">Overview</h2><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">We’re working in partnership with a friendly SEN specialist school in Wallington that is looking to appoint a caring and dependable SEN Lunchtime Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">This role offers the chance to support children with special educational needs in a positive and structured setting during lunchtime.</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"></p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"><strong>Age Range: </strong>7–19 years</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"><strong>Contract: </strong>Monday to Friday 11:30am To 1:30PM</p><h2 class="">Key Responsibilities</h2><ul class="list-disc pl-6 space-y-1"><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Supervise pupils during lunch across dining and outdoor areas</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Support children with eating, play, and social interaction</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Encourage positive behaviour and independence</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Assist with personal care when required, based on individual needs</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Adhere to safeguarding procedures at all times</p></li></ul><h2 class="">Candidate Profile</h2><ul class="list-disc pl-6 space-y-1"><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Experience working with children (essential)</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">SEN experience (desirable but not required)</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">A patient, nurturing, and proactive attitude</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Commitment to supporting children’s wellbeing and development</p></li></ul><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"></p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"><strong>Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate.
