Overview
A welcoming and inclusive 2 form entry primary school in the heart of Croydon is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Class Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026. This exciting opportunity will be based within Reception, making it ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Early Years education and committed to providing children with a strong foundation for their learning journey.
The school is ideally looking for a candidate with previous Early Years experience and a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum. However, they are also open to considering ambitious and highly capable ECTs who can demonstrate the potential, passion, and commitment required to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to the needs of Reception pupils
Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Demonstrate strong classroom management and a proactive attitude towards learning
Candidate Profile
QTS or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Early Years sector.
Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
Ability to work effectively within a school community in Croydon.
