We work with schools in Workington, Whitehaven and the surrounding coastal communities, and we're looking for experienced Primary Teachers who want flexible supply work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Whether you're looking to move to a new agency or want more control over your working week, Humly offers access to a range of local teaching opportunities. From day-to-day supply and short-term cover to longer-term classroom roles, we'll work with you to find bookings that suit your experience, availability and preferred key stage.</p><h2 class="">Role Details</h2><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">As a Primary Teacher with Humly North West, you'll teach across a variety of primary schools throughout West Cumbria. You'll have the flexibility to choose the type of work that fits your lifestyle while supporting schools with high-quality classroom teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"><strong>Pay:</strong> £120-£160 per day</p><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"><strong>AWR Pay Rate:</strong> From week 13 in the same role with the same hirer, where applicable, pay may increase in line with the school's equivalent rate.</p><h2 class="">What You'll Be Doing</h2><ul class="list-disc pl-6"><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Follow school planning or adapt lessons where appropriate</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Manage classroom behaviour confidently and effectively</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Assess pupils' progress and provide feedback where required</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and school leaders</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Support schools with day-to-day supply, short-term cover and long-term teaching roles</p></li></ul><h2 class="">You'll Be a Good Fit If You...</h2><ul class="list-disc pl-6"><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Are confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Can adapt quickly to different schools and classroom environments</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Have strong classroom management and communication skills</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Are reliable, professional and passionate about primary education</p></li><li><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed">Are looking for flexible teaching opportunities from September with a trusted local education agency</p></li></ul><h2 class=""></h2><p class="text-sm leading-relaxed"></p>
