    Overview

    Humly North West is seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a regular PPA cover role at a school in Millom. This long-term, part-time position runs for the full 2026/27 academic year and is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.

    Starting in September, you will work two days per week (any days Tuesday to Thursday), releasing classroom teachers for their planning, preparation, and assessment time. This role offers an excellent work-life balance, giving you the consistency of a full-year booking without the full-time planning and marking responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations.

    • Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting.

    • Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere.

    • Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school.

    Candidate Profile

    • Relevant qualifications for a Educator (e.g., QTS or equivalent).

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector.

    • Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.

    • Ability to work effectively within a school community in Millom.
