    Overview

    We are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a spacious and well-equipped early years setting from August or September.

    This Nursery Manager role is a strong opportunity for an experienced Early Years Manager, Nursery Deputy Manager or Nursery Lead who is ready to take responsibility for day-to-day nursery operations, staff leadership, safeguarding, EYFS standards and occupancy growth.

    The nursery currently has around 60 children on roll, with registered capacity for 95 children, so the setting is looking for a proactive manager who can maintain high standards while also supporting marketing, parent engagement and future growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations.

    • Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Early Years setting.

    • Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere.

    • Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school.

    Candidate Profile

    • Relevant qualifications for a Other (e.g., QTS or equivalent).

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Early Years sector.

    • Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.

    • Ability to work effectively within a school community in Preston.
