    Overview

    Humly are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in South Tyneside who are looking to welcome a Humanities Teacher into their team from September 2026. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering Geography 3 days per week and general cover the other 2 days. This is a full-time, long-term role to commence the 1st September 2026 for a full academic year.

    • Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Secondary setting.

    • Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere.

    • Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school.

    Candidate Profile

    • Relevant qualifications for a Educator (e.g., QTS or equivalent).

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Secondary sector.

    • Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.

    • Ability to work effectively within a school community in South Tyneside.
