    This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone nurturing, patient and confident supporting young children with additional needs. You’ll be working within an Early Years SEND provision, helping pupils access play-based learning, communication activities, classroom routines and early development support in a calm and structured environment.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    You’ll be supporting pupils in an EYFS SEND provision with:

    • Early Years classroom support

    • Supporting children with SEND and additional needs

    • Play-based learning and early development activities

    • Communication, interaction and social development support

    • Sensory routines, structure and emotional regulation

    • Small-group support and individual pupil support

    • Helping children feel safe, settled and ready to learn

    • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider Early Years team

    You’ll Be a Good Fit If You…

    • Have experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant, Early Years Teaching Assistant, Nursery Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant

    • Have supported children in EYFS, Nursery, Reception or an Early Years setting

    • Have experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs

    • Are calm, nurturing, patient and consistent

    • Understand play-based learning, routines and early child development

    • Can support communication, social skills and emotional regulation

    • Are reliable and able to commit to a full-time role from September

    • Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for one

    • Are willing to complete Humly’s safeguarding and compliance process before placement
