What You'll Be Doing
Deliver pre-set lessons to secondary pupils (ages 11–16) in the absence of the class teacher
Supervise work in line with school policies
Maintain a positive and constructive learning environment
Respond to pupil questions about lesson content or procedures
Address any immediate issues or emergencies following school protocols
Collect completed work and return it to the appropriate teacher
Report pupil behaviour or incidents in line with agreed school referral procedures
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 months' recent experience in childcare, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, class presentation, or similar
Confidence in communicating with pupils aged 11–16
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent spoken and written English
A proactive, supportive, and professional attitude
Strong interpersonal skills for working with both pupils and staff
